Safer Internet Day 2012 – Microsoft relaunches Internet Explorer 9 Customized version for kids

Microsoft and Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (COEP) today released a customized version of IE9 browser, to help protect and keep kids safe online.

This customised browser provides children with instant access to CEOP’s one stop shop for Internet safety. It has Thinuknow.co.uk and Bing.com as dedicated home pages and Favorites include and link directly to CEOP bookmarks.

It makes it easy for youngsters to report inappropriate online behaviour and find information about staying safe online.
