Resolve: Driver is displayed as an unsigned driver in Windows 7

This article may interest you, if you install a network adapter driver that has a Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) or Microsoft Authenticode signature, you check the properties of the driver in Device Manager & the driver is displayed as an unsigned driver.

You experience this issue, because of incorrect logic when the Authenticode flag in the catalog file of the driver is checked.

To resolve this issue, Microsoft KB2619914 recommends you download and run Hotfix 381252 solution.
