Fix: Toolbar missing in Microsoft Excel for Mac

If when you launch Excel for Mac, one or more toolbars are not displayed on your computer screen and cannot be added, then this article may interest you.

This issue can occur due to the following:
– The oval button in the upper-right corner of the document was clicked. This button “toggles” the display of toolbars on and off.
– There is an issue with Excel preferences.

To fix this issue, Microsoft KB2275327 recommends you try these methods in this order;
1. Make sure that toolbar display is not turned off.
2. Remove the Excel preferences

This fix applies to Excel 2008 for Mac and Excel for Mac 2011
