Fix: Error 1935 when installing Microsoft Office program

If when installing an Office program, the installation is not completed successfully and you receive error 1935, then this article may interest you.

You receive an error message that reads; Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {10CD20D2-733E-4174-9D02-2C6C26163DA5}.

You may experience this issue, if the Microsoft .NET Framework installation on the computer is damaged or is missing.

To resolve this issue, try one of these methods:
Method 1: Repair the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 installation – Do the following;
– Click Start, on the Search Bar, type appwiz.cpl, then hit Enter.

– Locate and select Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, in the installed programs list, then click Change/Remove.

– Click Repair, and then click Next.

Method 2: Install the .NET Framework version 2.0, if the version is not currently installed on your computer. Click here to download the offline installer for .Net v2.0.

Method 3: If the .NET Framework version 1.1 is currently installed, uninstall it, and then reinstall it.

To uninstall, do the following;
– Click Start, on the Search Bar, type appwiz.cpl, then hit Enter.
– Locate and select Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1, in the installed programs list, then click Change/Remove.
– Click Yes to uninstall

If you encounter this error when installing Office 2010 Service Pack 1, download and install Office 2010 July Update.
