Windows Azure Toolkit for Android now available

Microsoft has released Windows Azure Toolkit for Android along with updated toolkits for Windows Phone and iOS platforms which were earlier announced in May.

This release completes coverage of the three device platforms viz; Windows Phone, iOS & Android.

The Android toolkit includes native libraries (for storage and authentication), a sample application, and unit tests. Everything is built in Eclipse and uses the Android SDK.

These new toolkits make it easier, and less expensive, for developers to extend their applications across major computing platforms.

The Windows Azure Toolkits for Devices makes it easy to build mobile apps for Windows Phone, Android and iOS that use Windows Azure cloud services.
