Resolve ‘MultiPoint Manager may not display new station information in certain configurations’ issue in Windows MultiPoint Server 2011

Microsoft has released and made available for download an Update for Windows MultiPoint Server 2011, to resolve an issue where MultiPoint Manager may not display new station information in certain configurations.

With this optional update, you can resolve an issue where local and remote stations that are configured to use custom Remote Desktop Services (RDS) listeners do not display in MultiPoint Manager when a user logs on to one of these stations after MultiPoint Manager has started.

Consider applying this update, if the following conditions are true:
– You use a local or remote station device that uses custom RDS listeners to connect to a computer that is running Windows MultiPoint Server 2011.
– When the device is used to log on, you want the user interface of MultiPoint Manager to dynamically update while MultiPoint Manager runs.

A restart of the computer is required after installing this update.
