Analyze Your Time using Calendar Analytics, a free tool for PowerPivot for Excel from Microsoft

Microsoft has released a free tool utilizing PowerPivot for Excel – Calendar Analytics and  its now available for download.

Calendar Analytics is a time management application that allows users to connect to their Microsoft Exchange Calendar and get dashboard views on meeting statistics inside Microsoft Office Excel 2010.

This new Business Intelligence (BI) tool was developed as part of a continuing effort to show individuals and organizations that business intelligence can be utilized by everyone, not just CIOs and top level executives.

Features of the tool:
– Automatically retrieve time spent in calendar.
– Drive ad-hoc analysis of your meeting times by day, by hour, by categories and business priorities.
– View information about past meetings and future scheduled events.
– Customize your views (using slicers, DAX formulas or reference tables).
– Access this analysis for yourself and anyone who shares their calendar full details with you.
