Microsoft ‘How To Tell’ website gets a makeover

The new MicrosoftHow To Tell‘ site is now live.

The site has completely been revamped for easy and intuitive navigation, divided into 4 main sections.

What To Look For section, contains information on how to tell whether your Microsoft software and hardware are genuine.

Shop section, contains tips and information for safer shopping – in person or online.

Licensing section, contains information on how to be sure you have the right licensing for your Microsoft products.

Report Counterfeit section, provides you with the option to report directly to Microsoft if you have been sold counterfeit Microsoft software.

The How To Tell website is the latest of various Microsoft services/products websites to get a major overhaul.

Microsoft advises buyers of new PCs should always check for the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) to verify that the PC they are purchasing contains only genuine Windows.
