Users who are unable to obtain or upgrade to SP1 from the Internet, can now request Microsoft to ship a free Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 DVD. This service is available for users from Asia, Europe, Africa, North and South America.

The new SP1 release doesn’t bring any new noticeable consumer features to the existing operating system, but it’s embedded with some key enhancements and bug fixes.

The SP1 DVD is free, but you will need to pay the freight charges; $5 minimum. In addition, each user can only obtain 3 copies of SP1 DVD.

Note: The DVD contains only SP1 and not the integrated Windows 7.

You can order (Windows Live ID Required) your own copy of the SP1 DVD from here if you’re within US or Canada, or from here if you’re outside US or Canada.
