Find information online about academic research & researchers using Microsoft Academic Search

Academic Search is a free engine developed by Microsoft Research Asia to help users quickly find information about academic researchers and their activities. It is also a test-bed for Microsoft’s object-level vertical search research.

Microsoft Academic Search also lets you find information about academic papers, authors, conferences, journals, and organizations from multiple sources.

It also has a Visual Explorer page. This page presents the co-author relationship among scholars and also contains other information such as paper count, basic information of each author, number of co-written papers between two authors, etc.
