Microsoft bliink is a web design contest for middle and high school students across US. Microsoft bliink is about providing a opportunity for Aspiring Technologists in US high schools to create websites that ‘Imagine a future made better by technology’.

Microsoft bliink provides an avenue for student to:

– Dream big about how technology can make the world a better place
– Learn more about the power of technology to solve real-world problems
– Receive Microsoft Expression® Studio professional software
– Create a website to communicate their learning and creativity
– Be excited about the opportunity for local and national recognition
– Work hard to earn prizes that include Xbox 360 and Kinect

According to Microsoft;

The goal of the Microsoft bliink contest is to build the student interest in technology and increasing the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) pursuits in education and careers in the US. high school students with a positive experience with being creative with technology are more likely to pursue STEM studies and careers. We make this possible by providing high school students with the software tools, training and experiences through the Microsoft bliink contest.

Microsoft bliink contest 2011 launched on January 5th, 2011. The registration window is open until February 28th, 2011.
