News: Google announces Realtime Search

Yesterday, 26 Aug, 2010, Google announced significant enhancements to Google Search, giving real-time information to its own home and more powerful tools to help you find what you need. Google Realtime Search lets you see up-to-the-second social updates, news articles and blog posts about hot topics around the world.

On the new homepage you’ll find some great tools to help you refine and understand your results. First, you can use geographic refinements to find updates and news near you, or in a region you specify.

In addition, Google also announced that it has also added a conversations view, making it easy to follow a discussion on the real-time web.
