This article may interest you, if when you start Word for Mac, PowerPoint for Mac, Excel for Mac or Outlook for Mac, the Welcome screen does not have the OK or Close button to continue.
You experience this issue, if the screen resolution is too low and the Close button is on the bottom.
To resolev this issue, you will need o increase the resolution. Do the following;
- Click Apple.
- Click System Preferences.
- Open Display.
- Change to a higher resolution. eg, change to 1280×800 or 1680×1050. Note: The highest resolution depends on what your monitor supports. Some monitors are only capable of displaying 1024X768.
- Close the window.
